This MC artist, producer, and songwriter (formally known as L Effek, Shorty L) from the 757 Newport News, VA area has recently leaked her way into the local underground hip hop scene. It has been said that her music contains elements of jazz and her style and delivery takes her listeners back to the basics of Hip hop reminiscing on artists such as A Tribe Called Quest, Digable Planets, Leaders of the New School, Slum Village and others as such. Her mixtape "The Hidden Tapes of Human Thought Vol. 1" is anticipating release this summer 2011 so be on the lookout of how you can be apart of this experience!

Coop,The MC has also been featured as the artist for the theme song of the new television show “Whats Good, D.C.?” directed and launched by Ms. Ivana Jackson. Coop the MC wrote the catchy tune and partnered up with Manny Mozart, a talented music producer from West Philidelphia, on the production. The television show launch date is pending so stay tuned!
