This MC artist, producer, and songwriter (formally known as L Effek, Shorty L) from the 757 Newport News, VA area has recently leaked her way into the local underground hip hop scene. It has been said that her music contains elements of jazz and her style and delivery takes her listeners back to the basics of Hip hop reminiscing on artists such as A Tribe Called Quest, Digable Planets, Leaders of the New School, Slum Village and others as such.
